2002 Arctic Cat 90 Bogging down
I'm new to this site so still trying to figure out how and where to post! I bought a 2002 artic cat 90 awhile back for my step daughter thinking it would be a good beginner quad for her to learn with. Ive replaced the whole top end cylinder, piston, rings, new bearings on the crank shaft, new seals, new gaskets replaced the stator, cdi box, voltage regulator, ignition coil, starter, starter relay, battery, throttle and brake cables, main switch, ignition switch, air filter and a new carburetor and muffler from arctic cat. Thought this quad is gonna be just like new but I've ran into a problem and can't figure it out. I can start it up and it will idle fine then give it gas and it will begin to bog down... but if I reach down turn the fuel valve off and keep the throttle pushed in and the fuel start emptying out of the carburetor it will regain its power and run good until the carburetor run out of gas. We've checked the float level and it's good the carb doesn't leak fuel. So I was thinking maybe replace the main jet from a 77.5 to 75. Any advice in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks In Advance!
