I bought these for my 700 Diesel, but got tired of looking at them, while my mechanic is doing a turbocharger install. So, I tried em on the AC 400. 12" rims with 27" tires. Curious how it would effect the power of the little 400. So with 25" Maxxis tires , it would run 55 mph or a bit more on the stock speedo. With the 27's , I couldn't get it to 50 mph on the speedo. Given the factor of 1.08 , I think it still runs 55 mph, so not much loss in power. Traction in mud = awesome. Ride= smooth and quiet. Looks= nice! So they will go on the diesel, and I'll probably order a set for the 400 in 26" diameter. Thanks doorfx for steering me to those tires!!

No problem thanks for the review ! They are a pretty light tire for being as aggressive as they are.

Worked nicely in the mud, smooth on the highway at 50 mph. Hope not to test snow performance for a while.

What psi are you running? You can run them with zero psi lol

Merv, I put 6 psi in the fronts and 5 in the rear, as I'd planned to put on the heavy, almost 1,000 lb Diesel. I would probably drop to 5 ps front and rear if I kept them on the 400. Fronts seemed a tad firm, but I hat it when fronts are too flabby and fold under. I guess, my decision for the 400 will be, will I get 25" or 26". I think that the 27's are right at the tipping point, might be a tad too fast in low range for serious rock crawling. Minimum clearance with no lift on the 400 is 13", so 12" with 25" tires isn't bad. The Diesel has a lift, so clearance will be good with 27's. 1 Thing for sure, MST's are awesome!

So far, I love these tires! I run "grip studs" all winter. The Diesel plows snow with these like a bulldozer! 1 thing that concerns me: A bit of weather cracking. I like them much better than the Terra Cross RT's that are on my 700 TRV, although the Terra Cross ride nice.
