Xenon HID Head Light Bulb's

I'm looking to replacing my head light bulbs on my 2008 AC 650 TRV with some brighter Xenon HID white/blueish headlight bulbs. I want the simple plug and play and don't want to have to modify anything or have any kind of worries about the bulbs being to hot and melting the plastic. Has anyone had any experience with such a Xenon HID bulb or could recommend what I need?

I came across these HID bulbs on Amazon and they look like just plug and play replacements to me. Just wanted to know if anyone has tried these with any success.

I got the kit from DDM Tuning: DDM HID Kit, 35W, 880, 5000K. It plugs right in. I have them in the high beams on our Prowler.

I used HID lights for a few years. They worked except they don't like water or moisture and I was popping ballasts frequently. I changed over to LED lights and they are working well. I even found replacements for the 366 and Alterra (combination high/low beam bulb)

https://www.headlightexperts.com/

Your bulbs are 880 type for both low and high beam.

Sorry , ballasts are required for HID lights. Modern ballasts are near indestructable especially in water. Just remember you get what you pay for so get a good kit. LEDs are great for accent and running lights.

Well if it requires a added ballast or kit for install I'll probably just stick with the factory headlight bulbs then. Like I said I wanted plug in and play, no modification involved. So I'm assuming with the Amazon link I provided the HID Xenon showing will not work because I see no separate ballast mentioned unless I'm over looking something. Actually the HID Xenon bulbs I clicked on from the listing is for a AC 550, but I've seen other listing's for 650,700,1000 AC HID Xenon bulbs.

Tony, there isnt any modifications required with a good HID kit. The ballast plugs into the exsisting lite plug and the HID bulb plugs into the ballast. THAT equals plug and play to me.
