Everythings good BUT

Ok, so I changed out my oil, fuel, air filters etc. I got her running just fine. Now, the trouble Im finding is that it is VERY hard to get from neutral to forward! Reverse is no problem. Low range is no problem. BUT, when I go from neutral to forward I get (Almost always) a TICK TICK TICK grinding sound like its not getting in gear. I often have to put it in LOW first then back into forward to get it to stick in gear. Last time I drove it it actually poped out of forward back into neutral when I was moving forward!

ATV: 2008700SD and 2002 400 FIS
You need to reduce the idle rpm a bit. There is a limit screw on the motor where the throttle cable goes. Turn idle down until it shifts correctly. If I turn mine too low, it will start to run on 1 cylinder and start smoking. Does sound kinda cool on 1 cylinder, though.
