2018 Textron Off Road Wildcat X and Wildcat X Limited Preview

The Wildcat X and Wildcat X Limited are back for 2018, but this time under the Textron Off Road banner. The two models sit at the top of the Wildcat family, which is no longer part of Arctic Cat.

While the two models are largely familiar for any Arctic Cat faithful, they do each boast a new protective cage. Here is what Textron Off Road has to say about the 2018 Wildcat X and Wildcat X Limited.

Hello to all, new to this. Just brought home the new 2018 Wildcat 1000X. WOW. This thing is a beast, first ride was at Burning Rock Outdoor Adventure Park, Sophia WV. Park is open to all and any atv/utv riders and experience levels. Now let me get back to the real stuff, after break in, we put 55 miles on it, hands down the smoothest ride on the trails. A few guys had new RZR 1000X and RZR 1000XP. Yes we exchanged keys ( even big kids gotta share there toys too ) they say the ride is in a league by itself. Power is great but could always use more, however lets be real now, anyone ever do more then 30-40 mph in the woods. Out on the wide open fields, sure, but not in the woods. Thatís where the new Wildcat takes it to another level. With 5 link suspension being able to keep it planted to the ground, The power is there where it needs to be, at the wheels and on the ground. Thereís more I could say about it but that will be coming from anyone else that buys one. The new 2018 Wildcat 1000X is and was as advertised, a class leading machine that continues to get better year after year. O yea... thereís a 1000X Limited as well. Same power plant, suspension, etc. but with some cool accessories to boot. WAY TO GO Arctic Cat. This is one for the books.
