2013 can am commander 800 no power

Just purchased a 2013 commander with 1 mile on it. It runs smooth but only half power. Not the seat belts, keys, air cleaner, muffler, belt. Does can am have a break in period installed in the computer. I'm going to check the gas today but it has no missing, bucking or anything. Runs and idles smooth. Any ideas.

No, it is not in limp mode. Called the dealer and he said to change out the plugs as the previous owner probably fowled them out as it sat for 4 years in a shed and he would just go out and start it so often and let it idle. I'll let you know how it goes. I drained the tank and put in fresh gas 93 octane. Not much of a change.

No, it is not in limp mode. Called the dealer and he said to change the plugs as the previous owner probably fowled them out as it sat for 4 years and he would go out and start it every so often and let it idle. I drained the tank and put in fresh gas. No change. I'll let you know how I make out.

I wouldn't think plugs would be it but I'm no Can Am guru. If a plug is bad it usually runs bad or not at all. I would check the air intake system. If it sat in a shed maybe the mice built a nice little home somewhere. Same goes for the exhaust. Then I would consider the possibility of clogged injectors. Do they have a override button? Might want to try that too. Something could be hooked up wrong or backward.

Did ride around a little on a 800 outlander this weekend. Like the power, clutching is touchy, steering is nice, ride is not as smooth of ride as I thought it would be. Overall a very nice ATV.

Just wanted yo let you know that it was the plugs. It was only running on one cylinder as one plug was completely fouled out. I can not believe I didn't think of it as the previous owner would start it up every so often and just let it idle. Not good on plugs. Thanks for your support.

Glad you got it, surprised it ran "smooth" Easy, cheap fix that's a win.
