I was packing up camping, but while I check fire ban, I found ATVing is banned too.

That's a bit over the top, never heard of a fire started from an ATV with a flame arrestor. Be more worried by a discarded cigarette. Should probably ban use of chainsaws too.

2014 700TRV XT EPS, 2008 700SD Intercooled Turbo

I have actually had my 500 start on fire twice. We have a lot of muskeg out here and it gets on your exhaust. It starts to smolder and a little wind comes up. Poof instant fire, and if it drops on the ground still smoldering, you have a fire.
Also stopping in tall dry grass can start it on fire from the heat of your exhaust.

This ban is still in effect people. Please be responsible and stay out of the bush. Not even cut lines or logging roads are allowed.

Please check your area as parts of the province have had the OHV ban lifted. Please do not ride in areas with an ohv and fire ban in place. For those areas that are allowing fires please be extra careful this May long weekend!!!
