Went out ridinng this week by trails head and havent seen this much snow this early for 10 plus years. Fences are pretty much burried with a good hard pack already and its still snowing!!!! Will try and get picks up this week.

Yep, hes right. Just went out this last weekend and found the trails pretty packed but up in the trees off the trails we found 3 or 4 foot deep snow with a nice pack under it all. Alot of drifts with 5 or more feet of snow in them too. By the time we got out there it was all gettin a little suggary but all in all its worth it. Hopefully we got some more snow commin!

I've always wanted to ride the Black Hills. Are trails crowded on weekends? What kind of temps have you been getting lately?
