From CAT I own a 2004 650 A/C. I am getting engin oil in my air box. It seems to be worse when i drive the bike hard. The bike has only 1800 kms. My buddy has the same problem with his 650 kawasaki. Has anybody out there with a 650 had this problem. (NOTE air filter is clean).

welcome.gif cat welcome.gif Glad to have you along. Go to the atv discussion board and ask the same question there. I have done it too. Seems to be a little too much oil in the base. It only does it once or twice then it is fine right?? Mkae sure it is warmed up real good too before you do the high rpm's.

The cause is a slightly over filled oil tank. Also the thicker the oil the more of a tendancy it has.

Right after my wife got her 05 it fouled the plugs, dealer said it had oil in the box. You definately dont want to overfill the engine, best less than full. Tech at the dealership said to let em warm up or the oil will blow up in the box. We let em run longer in cold weather and have never had another problem with it. run like hell when you get on em. gegger
