if you live within 100 miles of the spillway in Louisiana you might want to check it out. post here if you rid there

I went there a few years back once with a 200 Honda three wheeler, on the track and trail side. Then I went in my old K-5 Blazer with 6" lift and 39.5 TSL Swampers to the pond and pipeline roads side had a blast both times.

WOO HOO! YEA GO BONNE CARRE! OH YEAH!

It's OK but not like the good old days when you could ride the complete spillway....

IMO the area is too small for all that are riding their, not a good mix dirt bikes & ATV's ....

It's not that far good for a quick ride, rather go to Mississippi, Rattle Snake Venture, Sand Hill, Red Creek, or even Up the Creek Acres...

supposively they are going to be extending it past the bridge onto the other side. i think that it would be better if the dirt bikes could have a seperate area, just because when they ride behind you, waiting to pass, it gets kind of annoying. but other than that, its an o.k. place to just go for a days ride.

btw, how do you like red creek bayou?

Someone told me that a new public place open this weekend in bellchase near the NAS. Do you know anything about it???

I ride in the Spillway sometimes, mostly later in the year. If anyone is interested in creek riding and doesn't mine a trip to Zachary I ride on the creek pretty much every weekend. The more the merrier!

i dont think i wannna go 2 spillway anymore last time i went ( i think it was june) my dog got hit by a boat when she was swimming in the canal and died. brings back too much memories, havent been back or riding the cat since

i wana go!!!!
