I don't know what, why, or how, but the plastic/body retainers under my seat (on either side of the battery) are missing. Can someone please look under their seat and tell me if there is a battery hold down bracket that goes in between the body mounting bolts? sos.gif

AWESOME! Thank you -- that's exactly what I needed! biggrin.gif

If the bolts arre missing, its possible that the threaded inserts got stripped out which caused the bolts not to tighten up. This was the problem on my DVX, I just continued to drill the hole through the bottom of the frame tube and welded a nut to it, never had problems after that.

Anything is possible. What I am thinking is -- when my buddy had bought it new as an '06 model in june of '07, the dealer (Bass Pro Shop in Harrisburg,PA) probably threw a new battery in it and didn't put the stuff back in place. Honestly, I don't know if I ever checked to see if it was there TgC_emoticon142.gif .

Well, I got all of my parts last night to insulate and mount the battery properly. Thanks again for everyone's help, and thanks to Ron at Jack's Small Engines in Jarrettsville, MD for hooking me up!
I encourage everyone to check their website for smoking deals on clearance Arctic Cats.
www.jackssmallengines.com look for link toward the right about half way down. Me and beerbuzz69 each bought our '07 700EFI's for $6285 -- there is no more bike for your money!

Just noticed the mention of my name. If you are in the Northern Maryland area and are looking for a great price and service. Ron at Jacks is the man. I have been back numerous times for accessories and info and he was always happy to help
