Thats right, someone on this site (will remain nameless for a day or 2) ripped me off for of all things, a SET OF SPARK PLUGS!! I use to have a V2 and had a few things laying arround after I traded it off, listed them in the swap area, and a guy wanted them. Fine I made him a deal (would have been the same price to ship them as they were worth) so I said hey send me a hat or something like that (I am in Canada he is in the states) I said something I might not be able to get here. Good enough, deal made, I sent off my plugs and he received them about Nov 30, I have nothing. Its not like it is a bunch of money, that is not the point. The point is that I got ripped off for like 10$ or so. That is really low in my books!! I have tried to pm him multiple times with no answers, it is kind of my fault also though, cause this person didnt have very many posts, but I like to trust people. Just wanted to put this out there in case he is lurking or something here. His name and address will be posted on Thursday Jan 10/08

Hopefully, this person will get honest soon and honor the deal!!
That bites!
Also, the guy ruins his reputation on a forum for a couple spark plugs!

Unless of course, there's a reason why he never got back, it can happen.
When the time comes to reveal who, be sure to post your feedback here:

Sorry to hear that you had problems with someone from Achat. But is the ten dollars that you lost worth the trouble that MAY BE caused by the listing of the name of this person? Everyone has the right to voice their opinion, but also sometimes things are better left unsaid. By listing this name could start a topic that could turn south very fast then, we as Moderators have to get involved and then no one is happy. I'm not telling you what to do, I'm just asking you is it worth it. Thanks Don

my opinion is that $10 is $10 the 2 made an agreement and doober followed through the other fella didnt. now i see your point dadszr but if doober doesnt play the game than there is only one person to blame. this person should be brought out into the open before a set of spark plugs turns into tires or something more expensive. and next time it could be you. i think if a person on this site screws someone else over they should be given a week to contact the seller to make arrangements for payment or otherwise decided between the 2 and if they dont comply then they should (as sanny would say ) get a permanent vacation. this site has a zero tolerace for crap and that is great so lets do the same to crooks

That is a game I wont play, I am not on here much, but really enjoy the site. The thing is if it isnt brought up, then like rango said, what is next, a few hundred dollars from someone else?? Maybe you?? But dont worry about me, if he has the nuts to post here, it will be taken care of through pms. He said he sent it Dec 10 or so also, I forgot to add that.

I'm NOT saying that he can't post his name. I just said is the 10.00 worth it. We all know how fast things can go south real fast and I didn't want to see that happen. As for the zero tolerace I think thats a great idea and for times like this there is the link that AG had posted.

That's what the FeedBack forum is for, in the link I posted above.
It doesn't have to turn into an ugly attack here, just letting others know, and hopefully helping prevent another burn, especially an expensive one!

This place is great!

How many times has THAT been said? Unfortunately people take advantage of us everywhere. I got burned on ebay recently and it was my mistake, but I learned. At least here there is a civil place to post those people and we can watch out for each other. This place will take up a lot of my time this year,, and I hope its a blast!!!

I'll put my 2 cents into the bucket for what it's worth, maybe my lesson learned will be your's as well.
2 years ago (almost exactly) I sold some sled parts on Ebay. For whatever reasons some communications were not sent nor received between us. I (being the self righteous ass that I can be at times) jumped on the principles band wagon thinking he screwed me over. The transaction was never finalized and very negative feedback was left for us both. Neither one of us gained anything from what happened between us, just a total loss for us both.
22 months later we find ourselves in communication together thru a mutual and crazy friend. It ends up that this guy actually goes out of his way to help me out. We both agreed that water under the bridge is just water under the bridge. Turns out this guy is pretty cool and today I consider him a friend. It will be a honor to drink a beer with him one day.
Shit happens because that's what it is, just shit. It's too easy to point the finger at someone and place blame without letting the situation sort out. I know, I've done alot of that myself in recent months. Point Blank.. Today's enemy maybe tomorrow's friend.
P.S. I think posting feedback is good but, only if done in a positive manner.
