I'm wondering what the aftermarket bearing # is for the drive shaft bearing on an 03 F7. I can't get one right away, so I was going to go to abearing place to see if I could find something else. I was on alpha-sports and it looks like there is only 1 bearing on the cluch side. Mine sounds like is squealing a little and there is a little vibration on the running boards when you're driving it. I have 4200 miles on it and I heard that they are known to go and should be replaced. I f anyone has any thoughts on this I would appreciate it.

The clutch side bearing on the track drive shaft is a standard 1" self aligning bearing with a lock collar (you don't need the lock collar on a Firecat).
The Fafnir-Timken part number is RA100RRB2 and their bearings are one of the better quality bearings on the market. A standard bearing can also be found with the generic part number of 1736205-100 as well.
Be sure to install the bearing with the lock collar flange facing towards the drive sprockets other wise it'll damage your speed sensor.
Wholesale cost at our machine shop for the Fafnir-Timken bearing is less than $10 and a generic bearing is around $6. You should be able to find a Fafnir-Timken for around $12~$15. Arctic Cat sells the Fafnir-Timken bearing for around $37 cdn and they keep the lock collar.
Ouch, easy on the mark up guys!

Anyone know the bearing #'s for the chaincase side? Top and bottom. I just replaced the top one about 1200 miles ago. Another great problem with the F7 jackshaft bearing on the clutch side!

I would also like to know what the part numbers are for the bearings for an 04 F7. Upper and lower on chaincase side and for the other side.
Thanks,
Jeff

FYI...
Bearing ID sizing usualy follows a three didgit number. The first digit is the Inch placement and the last two digits hold the Fraction placement in sixteenths.
RA100RRB: 1=one inch and 00=0/16ths (1" ID bearing)
RA014RRB: 0=zero inches and 14=14/16ths (7/8" ID bearing)
RA102RRB: 1=one inch and 02=2/16ths (1 1/8" ID bearing)
RA012RRB: 0=zero inches and 12=12/16ths (3/4" ID bearing)
The RA prefix is designated for offset extended inner race for lock collar
The RR portion of the suffix designates it as a two land riding rubber seals
The B portion of the suffix designates that it has a spherical outside diameter (self aligning)

Bottom chaincase bearing is GRA100RRB5, trust me I just found out when I took mine out and got the wrong bearing. It has a seal on it for the gear oil in your chaincase.
