Hi all, Im totally new to the atv scene. I just bought a 2009 Arctic Cat 700 Mudpro. I have two noob questions.

1st. My manuel and the arctic cat web site, say that it comes with the 12" outlaw tires, But somehow my came with the 14" zilla, i notice they are putting these on the 2010 models. How do the zilla stack up agaist the outlaw's?

2nd. what kinda of air pressure should i be running when i go mud riding? (for floation).

Thanks
Ada

I am no expert on ATV mudding, but I would recommend that you do some trial and error runs until you find what works for you.

Just about every ATV is different: Personal accessories, where you place them, rider weight, and rider experience. There are several more factors, just wanted to give you an idea.

I know this doesn't seem logical, but that is how I went about finding that happy "medium" in tire pressure.

I really like the Zillas. I believe they put bigger roters on yours too compared to the first mudpro's that came out.

Both outlaw mst's and zilla's are great tires. everybody that owns one or the other praise them. One thing to remember about the zillas is they tend to dig more then a paddle type tire, so if your in deep bottomless mud be careful. Im assuming you have skinnies all the way around(meaning 9 inch wide tires on all fours) you may not get the best flotation with those, you may consider putting 11s on the rear but once you learn how to handle the holes you will be able to go through a lot.

Thanks, I believe your right, the trail and error might be the best way.

For me id prefer the msts as there a harder tread compound and will last longer. Stronger sidewalls and puncture resistance in my opinion to. Heard lots good about the zillas tho.
