I am the owner of a 95 Pantera, love it !! had a Panther a few years ago , but am totally unfamiliar with all the Cat models. Both are big touring sles, two up etc. What makes them different. Mine is a 580 LC, EFI and will do close to 60 mph in fresh powder snow, I haven't had the nerve to found out the top end, but it is somewhere beyond 75 mph on a hard surface.

Panteras , at least since the early '90s were Liquid cooled, while the Panthers are generally fan cooled, but they did make a few liquid cooled Panthers. Panteras are more of a luxury touring sled with better suspension and ride, while the Panther is more of an economical touring sled. I think that pretty much sums it up, depends on what year and type of Panther you are comparing to your '95 Pantera.

Thanks, I did feel that the overall ride of the Pantera was better than my Panther, but sold the Panther a few years ago. I was the last of the Kawasaki twins, kind of wish I had kept now.

What year was your Panther? You must be talking about a 20 year difference between your Panther and your '95 Pantera if your Panther had the last year of the Kawasaki engine.
