I just purchaced a new 09 800 XFR. I am putting rail extensions on and throwing in a 136x15x1.38 studded track. What do I need for tunnel protectors? Just a short one in the middle of rear cooler or the short one and two down the tunnel over the windows?

Also any input on hand guards. I've been looking at a few, just not sure yet.

Who has the best clutch kit for this machine? I've been looking at Speedwerk and D&D.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Mark

I have talked to Tony about it and purchaced the rail extensions and wider rear axle but I forgot to ask him about the protectors. Hoacha, could you look on yours and see how your protectors are layed out (if it even has them).

Thanks

My extensions where removed before i bought it. I have the stock 128x1inch set up in again. He ran the cobra 136x1.25 track with no picks or tunnel protectors. You might have to talk to him again. If your track is regularly checked and kept tight, there is plenty of room under there. I dont know if the protectors would be required for anything under 1.5inch. Let me know how it goes please.
