All the stickers on my wifes 08 650H1, including the safety stickers, came off when I pressure washed the bike after her first ride. LOL. Must have been built on a Monday or a Friday.

I just plan to get some funny stickers that mimic the factory ones just with a bunch of unsafe acts or stupid things on them. I too have the embeded stickers and hate them.

Thats pretty funny right there,,, slaphappy.gif

Do the Shane Mod, there was a member here with the nickname of Shane, who came up with the idea to put a piece of non slip stair tread (Skate Board Tape) over the sticker. Stair tread has adhesive on one side and a water proof sandpaper like surface on the other side. Cut a piece the same size as the sticker and cover the sticker, what you'll have is a black non slippery surface to put your feet up upon during those water crossings. Looks great and add function too.

Hey guys, i have had very good luck using bug spray. just a note though, dont leave it on too long. Bug spray (off, muskol etc.) will take paint pen, sharpie, magic marker, glue off of almost anything. makes one kind of wonder why we put it on our skin. Hope this helps.

P.S i used a heat gun and bug spray to remove mine. heat gun to pull stickers and bug spray to remove th glue left behind.

Like mentioned above, not all the color molded plastics have molded in safety decals, my 06 650 V-2 was all stickers as some blew off with pressure washer, same with my friends 05 V-2, and both of our old 97 and 98 454 2x4s have stickers, and the painted plastics all have to have stickers, the only other thing they could do witch they have not done yet is paint the plastics, put the decals on and then clear over them, it may happen in the future but I hope it does not, I honestly could care less though, they dont bother me much. Like on other member mentioned, just get some spoof warning stickers and put over the top of the factory ones, thats what I plan on doing with my new T-Cat body, instead of acutally putting the real warning stickers on being none of the decals are on it yet, im just going to buy the spoof decals to put in there place just cause I can.
