Will a 1.25 in Ripsaw fit a 00 ZL 500?

I have a 00 ZL 500 and it needs a new track. Someone has a Ripsaw 1.25 in with less than 500 miles on it and wants $300 for it. Question is? Will it fit? Is this a good deal?

Is it studded? If so, what size studs?

I can get that same track brand new never installed for $423.00 to my door. That includes shipping. If it was me I would get a brand new one over a used. You will have $300 in it and have not said what the shipping will be. Probably $75.00. So for an extra $50 bucks you could get brand new. Your call.

Did you even call to ask them what it would cost to ship it to you????

I think it will fit. Better verify that though. See how much room you have on the front heat exchanger. My 2000 T-cat, it would fit.

Camoplast or Camso now, has 1.25 as an option. I think that would be max and NO studs. There are other sites for tracks and you guys down south are lucky with zero or next to nothing for freight.

You guys have a point. There's also eBay I think too. Would 1.25 with no studs be an issue? I called a shop in NY and they said 1.25 is the perfect size without studs because you get enough
Bite in snow but also can have a flexible rear in snow as well.

Not gonna debate to run studs or not, but I do run studs because its not always the take off ability, its being able to stop too. You wouldn't want sub standard brakes on your car would you? To me anyway, its a safety issue. If,.....you want to run studs ever, you need to call the guy in the link and he will tell you if it will fit your sled and if you ever plan to run studs in the future, if they will even fit. Otherwise, you may need to go with the 1". On a 500cc a 1" may be a better choice. Maybe. Just sayin. Call and you will know what your options are. Too much money to spend going into it blindly.

Personally I like running studs but that's not a question. I'm only entertaining this since it seemed like a good deal but I guess not so much if I can get a track shipped for $4xx.xx
