Sled has been a issue for last two years. Compression rest show 128psi in each cylinder. New rewind on stator. New plugs. New belt. Checked clutches over. Could this be s tps issue and if so dose any one know how to check it or adjust it
No I have not checked the stator again this is 4th stator iv put in it. Got one off eBay with no luck, one off a local shop they replaced it still no avail and I sent original to ***** and had it rewind done on it. Sled will start and if long enough straight stretch will clean out and open up. Plugs are wet if you idle acts like it's getting to much fuel at idle.
Sounds like either coolant sensor or IAT sensor is bad.. Get them tested by dealer.. If you don't and want to do things yourself, I'd try IAT first as it's easiest to do..
Both of these are easy to test yourself with an ohm meter. Test your iat sensor by checking resistance across the two leads. Make note of the ambient temperature and post back. I have a chart on my computer that I can check for you. Water temp is the same procedure. Once again make note of temp and ohms and post back for me to check the chart on my downloaded manual. Keep in mind that if your meter doesn't give a reading try the next highest setting on your meter as my particular meter I had to check iat at the 200k setting and the water temp sensor at the 20k setting. Resistances will obviously change with temperature so you may have to play with which setting you need to use. Post back and I will check spec for you.
One other thing I will say is mine had a slight bog so I followed 109jb's write up on adjusting the tps (also using an ohm meter) and wow what a difference. Bog is gone and more power throughout the band. Mine was set low. You could tell it had been adjusted previously as the screws were slightly stripped on the heads.
