Wildcat exhaust on a 1992 EXT

Has anyone put the two pipe wildcat exhaust on an EXT?

I just bought a 92 EXT special, which is a project. (Need the top end finished on a rebuild). It didn't come with an exhaust header or exhaust pipe. I was looking around for one and a guy has a complete exhaust for a wildcat that he says will work. I was told that I would need to re-jet it also.

Anyone have experience with this?

NOOOOOO. Dont even waste your time. That motor cant even handle those pipes. Each expansion chamber is made for THAT specific cc Size.

You would 100% LOOOSE a ton of power.

Just go buy a zr 700 and start there.

No Sorry bro i mean just sell the EXT and buy the actual ZR 700. Not sure if too many companies made pipes for EXT's.

Just saying i would leave that one stock and just buy another sled to MOD. the ext's aren't the most modded platform so you'll have trouble finding any pipes for it.

There's a factory twim 530 set-up that alot of the el tigres came with, but dpcsar is right, that motor won't run off 700 pipes, you might even be running the risk of leaning it out somewhere in the throttling (even if WOT seems okay) and melt her down.

Melt down is what I am afraid of. The guy selling the exhaust said to just jet it two sizes bigger so it will not be lean and melt.

BTW - zr700 is out of budget. Not looking to make a screamer, just have another sled to play with.

I have a 1992 EXT 550 parts sled laying around. I'd sell the exhaust off it for the right price, shoot me a PM.
