93 ext 580z aglt mod

ok guys i really need your help with this one this project has turned out alot harder then i thought (as thay always do). i got a few pics and im going to be posting throu out this project so you can learn as well as i do lol. but right know need help really really bad.the lower control arm's rear bolt wont come off and on closer inspection it has what looks like some kind of cover over the nut and the nut is just spinning with no way to get a wrench on it. can some one please give me some advice on this.[IMG][/IMG]this is what it looks like i got my phone in the hole to take the pic.

need more snow!!!

well i got the retainers off had to cut the bolts here are come pics so far [IMG][/IMG] the two middle tabs have to be cut off in order to get the newer a arms in place and spacers will have to be mad im going to weld the spacers in place because with removing the two inner tabs it is going to make the brackets weaker that way it will reinforce the outer brackets.

this project is i lot more in volved then just a swap so i dont avise it for someone that has trouble fabricating and figuring out little problums lol. im to far into it to stop lol

The 93 definitely won't be a direct swap. With the correct chassis to start with it's pretty straightforward tho. Hopefully you won't end up with any weird camber issues.

what do you mean and what should i look out for? im kinda winging this lol im good at fabricating things and everyone kept telling me it was going to be ez lol. any advice at this point would be great. that is one and probably the main reason for starting this thread was for help advice and if anyone was thinking of doing this to this type of chassie thay would have something to look at.

need more snow!!!

should have got a 95 to 98 zr zrt or t cat there are others that work two of the 95 to 98 era think 94 two in your last pic is that the shock mount up at the top of the tubular frame if so thats way to high for the aglt mod should look like this

yes that is the shock mount on the top. is that going to be a problum and how so? am i going to have to weld on a mew shock mount lower? if so what is the hight going to have to be?
