Went riding yesterday and the temp light came on. I had to use plan water from bottles and streams to get back. I used jb weld it fix the hole but now the water in the motor is frozen. It is below 0. What should I do.
stick it in a warm garage and let it thaw out you will have to have someone who knows how to weld aluminum fix it for you, happened to me last year wasn't fun luckly it happened near my house
Happened to me too last year! Take your track, suspension, drive cogs shaft out... and you can get it welded up for around $50-60. Be a good time to replace your drive shaft bearings too, while everything is out!!!
All your top end o-rings and such are probly blow out from the expanding ice.... This happened to me last weekend dont pour any antifreeze in it until you have checked your o rings. I made a stupid move and did this an dumped about a liter in and it went strainght into the bottom end of the
Motor .
