lower connecting rod bearing

Does anyone know how to replace the lower connecting rod bearing on a 99 zl600 crankshaft?..Can I replace this with a bearing that is not arctic cat and does a shop have to take this crank apart and press it together?.....This bearing went and there is a little bit of scoring on the piston, but the cylinder is ok. Do I have to replace the piston as well?.....Rough day of sledding when you have to get towed home..

Needs to go to a sled shop that does cranks to replace the bearing, they may have replacements onsite or a good used. I would suggest a performance shop instead of a dealer. Take the piston with you they will be able to tell you if you need a new one
