Hydraulic cylinder rods abrasion with use. When the apparent is marred, the after effect is allowance accident and leakage. It's a labour accelerated action to harder chrome a new surface. It takes about a anniversary beneath accustomed conditions.

CVTech-AAB is a place in Quebec to send out cylinders to get re-plated. Will be sending my 500's cylinder there probably.

Gimmie some they must be high!!!!! Didn't make sence to me either ....... Basically 2 things I'f the cylinder isn't scored use a ball hone to deglaze the cylinder... That process will not remove much stock maybe .0003 to .0006 at best ... Nickasil is about 50 52 rockwell it's enough to ruff up the cylinder wall to allow the rings to seat correctly... Of you have a score or deep gouge then hone and plateing is required then I suggest us chrome in wi. Either tell do a swap or rework the head you have . They also have piston kits as well ..... They redid my zl and the kit was cheeper then buying wiseco or anything else. Oem is always the way to go. My .002$
