Offset timing key how to install?

I did not know my 2000 Tcat had an offset key until I took it out,did not pay attention which direction the offset faces I am guessing when looking at the mag side it should face towards the right, front of motor, but that is just a guess can anyone help...

You are correct. The motor (looking at it from the Mag side) rotates in a clockwise motion. So, if you want the ignition to fire sooner then you want to rotate the flywheel in a clockwise direction so the trigger coil on top of the recoil housing picks up the flywheel marks "sooner" and therefore starts the spark in the cylinder sooner. You'd know right away if you put it in backwards..the sled would be really lazy when you hit the throttle.
