Will a stator from a 96 TCAT900 work in a 94 TCAT900???

1996 part number is 3004-836 1994 part number is 3004-385 so i'm not sure i would have said yes until i looked that up

93 to 99 are essentially the same for 800/900/1000. Minor lighting coil changes but shouldn't matter.

there you go coming from a stator guy he should know what he's talking about. i would have said the same thing until i seen the different part numbers

Kev is 100% correct. the "minor" differences in lighting coils is that some have 7 posts wound and some have 8 posts wound. Same connectors, ground wire ect...

Lighting coil is yellow to yellow about 0.2 ohms. Sometimes shorted wiring can cause that issue.
