Thumbs up

I have a basically stock 02 zr 600 efi with a MBRP can and 96 woddys studs, I was on the lake last weekend the fastest i could get it to go on reallll hard pack was 100. It was tacking just about 8100 rs felt it was just barley pulling still but 100 is all she would pull. Does that sound correct ??? My primary clutch spring color is yellow nd secondary is red clutch engauges at around 4000 4100. Previous owner said it was stock but im not sure. The sled only has 750 miles on it. Any help or advice would be great, Thanks alot guys

Just a guess, But its possibly the EFI limiting it.Like a rev limiter so it doesn't blow. just an idea.

Was that on the speedo or gps?
I have a 2002 ZR600 - completely stock. It will run 101-105 on gps on absolute ideal conditions.
Mine slams 8,300 rpms and just sits there.
I would venture to guess that the can is slowing it down a bit, that motor needs the back pressure.
