I just put an MBRP can on my sled today. I ran it for about ten minutes and oh man...was it nice. After it got warmer she fell on her face.....big power loss.
Is this normal??? Will re-jetting fix it up???
I can't go back to the stock can after hearing the roar!!!!!!
I had a MBRP can on my 99 ZRT 800 and never had to rejet or experienced any power loss (or gain for that matter). Make sure you have the joints sealed up good, the can wasn't a great fit on my sled so I had to use some silicone to keep it sealed up good. I agree the sound of the big triple with the MBRP cant be beat Rockerdude
Well you were right....It wasn't the can. I noticed soon after riding that gas was seeping out of cyl 3. What a time for a plug to go. Put a new plug in and away she goes.....running perrrrfect.
I think its a bit better on low and mid range but I think I may have lost a bit of top end........
Can't beat the sound though......wow!!!!
