THe first thing I noticed about the sled is that the front end seemed light.
The ski's come off the ground on accelleration, even from around 30 mph.* At the same time this sled is 5 years newer and a couple hundred CC's larger than my last one.* I assumed this is how the newer sleds were set up.
I have not noticed any negative effects.
I woul rather keep the fron end the way it is and use 8" carbides.

You might check the Royal Distributing catalog (see link) and have one mailed to you from Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
FYI, you don't show your location. Headlight covers are illegal in Ontario and may be elsewhere as well.

FYI HEADLIGHT COVERS have become ILLEGAL in the state of MICHIGAN.
DO NOT get caught with a set of these on your sled.

You can order a headlight cover right from cat (aka your dealer). They come in chrome, smoke, green and yellow. The chrome one cost $39.95 and the smoke, green and yellow ones are $29.95 each.
