I looked that number up for you on brownsleisureworld and its says that pt# is for mostly bearcats from 1998-2001, 99 jags, 98-2000 panthers and a 98 ZR. Not sure if that helps but at least you know what it was for.

91 coug..thanks. I looked up the number 'the outdoor shop' gave me and this is what I got

Part Number: 1639-978
Description: KIT, ELEC FUEL GA. '01 12/13 GAL CARB
Quantity: 1
Each: $179.95

Now I'm REALLY confused

yeah..I messed up.. I was looking on the page with the elec. fuel gauge .. somehow..

The correct part# for 99-05 z440 is 3639-099


also if you don't have a hole in the hood, need to use a hole saw and cut one.
