Yeah there is a BIG difference between the Z, ZL and ZR 440s in 97. Even though its a pain in the ass alot, my 97 ZR 440 is an AWESOME machine. The engine puts out some incredible power and speed for a 438cc engine without exhaust valves and many other fancy gizmos.
Handles like its on rails, pretty light, looks cool, smooth riding and has good suspension, cant ask for much more. Just the reliability issues now and then are what upset me. It may not be technically a "Sno Pro" but it sure has the attitude of one.
The 97 Z 440 also was fairly ahead of the compitition in racing. They won alot due to their superior suspension and chassies.
