F7 with APV Servo problems

Hi!

I have a snopro 440 with F7 engine. I got a "check engine" message with 6 flashes, as i can see there is some problem with the APV servomotor.

The clue is that the wires have perfect length and are fine. And the motor works for 95% but when its not work i got the message and the engine is running in limp mode.

I ******* hate it, espacially because im almost running on the sea and the ice is no good so it feels dangerous. Can i stop the ECU from sending the message or how can i fix the problem?

34,5 mm i the right lenght huh?

Im running on 4% oil because of new pistons but theat should´t be a problem!?

Now i got flashes almost everytime i running over 7000 rpm. I removed the motor and connected the red/black lead to positive and black/red to negative on a 12v battery. The servo motor dosent move.

Does anyone have a motor for sale?

unhook the cables from the servo, and pull on them.do they move easy. i understand the cables fray, and get damaged under the engine.do they take the same amount of pull for each?...to be really sure,i unhook each end,and push and pull them.they should move very easy unhooked. i had the same issues sat on the trail,w/ the 04 f/cat....6 flashes. my cable felt stiff,so...monday i will tear into it,mike

The cables and valves are fine.

I opened the servo motor and there was a lot of rust in it, I cleaned it and tested it and now it runs fine again.

So if you have problems with your motor open it before you buy a new one because they are pretty expensive.
