2004 F6 Firecat EFI

My step Dad is looking at buying a 2004 F6 Firecat and he wanted me to ask on here for some information on this sled? Does it make a good trail sled? Was there any major problems with sled? Any advice/information is welcome.

Thanks!

See you on the trails and think snow!

Last year was my first season on the same sled you mentioned. It was alot of fun. I'd desperately like reverse, and the damn thing sometimes doesn't like to turn when it should lol, but it goes quick through the trails when you work it and you'll always have a smile on your face.

Starting the EFI (pull start) in any weather was NEVER a problem. 2nd pull every time.

I got a trunk for it to help extend the carrying capacity for when I go on two day rides.

Backs a little sore after 200 mile days, next sled will be the newer generation to help save my back.

Watch the idlers, I lost a few throughout the season!

Good luck have fun!
