The crossfire is a completely different sled, the hood is designed different, the bellypans have side panels that come off for easy access, the 700's such as mine are a 136" track, and you can put 141"-144" under them. the track is also 15" wide. the early build 700's, such as mine should have the firecat gearing, 65/55, but the rest are 60/60 gearing. Personally, i like the 65/55 gearing more. they also are more rider forward, and in my opinion comfier. I look at them as a new and improved firecat, once you ride one you will know why! Also the air intake is up next to the headlights, and the hoods sealed up pretty tight!
Heres mine
