Hey everyone noticed last night my rear shock had hit my centre idler wheels and wearing on the charge chamber and actually broke the shrader valve cap off any info on the issue?
There was a dealer update, it involved removing the rear idler wheels as a fix.:Bangin: You must have picked the sled up late fall of 2016, surprised you didn't receive a notice from AC or the dealer.
Without the rear idlers you will see increased slider wear mine were wore out at the 300 mile mark of trail riding.
Hygear has a fix to rotate the cap 45* to clear them but it's about $150 with parts, labor and shipping. It may be worth it to keep the wheels and have this done, for me I need to buy the wheels, mounting brackets and hardware again.
As stated above, X2. Get the Hygear kit, Way better than AC's fix & will make the sled ride/handle Way Better! Money well spent; Read the info on their web-site.Rockerdude
Thx it was the dealers personal sled only had 24 miles on when I bought it , took for its first ride only hit one little drop like maybe 10 feet, shock seem to be charged enough when I checked them. Going to take to dealer this week end to have them look.thx again .
I don't think the hygear 45* cap will do anything for the ride unless you also spend another $200 on the linkage kit.
Either way if the dealer removes the wheels try and get them back, the update notice instructs the dealer to toss the parts, you will want them to use after the hygear 45* cap mad or maybe mount them else where without the mod.
