1972 arctic cat 340 cheetah

I just purchased a 1972 arctic cat cheetah i think. It will need some work but is complete. Where is the model number located so i can determine what year the sled is?

Sled: several 72-77 Cat's, 4 Kawasaki's
Starting in 72 the model number was on a sticker on the right side of the tunnel up by the foot rest unlike the 71 and earlier where it was stamped on the serial number plate. I don't have the number for the 340 but I'm assuming it's 0110-509 since the 400 is 0110-510 and the 440 is 0110-511. As far as year, first digit of the serial number will tell you the year.

where would be the best place to get a manual for this sled? i want to be able to do most of the work on it myself and a manual would be a big help.

another quick question, what is the lever on the left side of the handle bars for? i know the one on the right side is the throttle, so is the one on the left side a brake or clutch engagement lever?

Right throttle, left brake, clutch is automatic on all sleds, increased engine rotation causes the clutch to engage, weights and spring and all that fun stuff.
