So I finally got the sled runnging but had no lights. I replaced the head w/ a new H4 and the tail w/ a 1157. The tail lights work but no brake light, I tried 2 new bulbs and cleaned w/ electric cleaner. are these the correct bulbs? I could not find the bulb number on Arctic Cat Parts Nation but matched it up w/ the bulb that was in already. The shroud surrounding the casing is melted above the bulb. Another problem is the headlights, I replaced the bulb making sure not to touch the lens. They worked on high and low. Then I went to get the wife to see if tails/brake were working. After restarting only highs work. Could it be the voltage regulator or what is the culprit.

Thanks jt

So I added a new voltage regulator and now I get no spark again. I then tried the old VR and still no spark. Tried jumping and no spark. Back to the drawing board. I am getting ready to make it a FIRE cat. jk

Check your voltages before and after the VR with the different ones you have sounds like you may be missing a ground somewhere more than anything. I would check to make sure all your grounds are clean, tightened and making good connections.

Tonight I ran grounds from the voltage regulator, coil and cdi and again no spark. I am having a friend come over this weekend with a voltmeter to check the coil, and voltage regulator. We may also pull the stator.
