Well both the pantera and cheetah say 20:1 on them. With the better oil of today though you could probably get away with a little less oil.

Thanks guys, from my old days I thought it would be 20:1 but with new oils and most small motors runing at 35:1 to 50:1 ithink I will try less oil. Not sure if I want to attempt 100:1

Thanks again

If you spring for good oil like amsoil 50:1 is no problem. I run alot of my old sleds on 40:1 even with cheap oil alot depends on how and how much you will ride them.

Keep in mind the old sleds with rich oil mixtures like 16:1 and 20:1 used jetting specs that reflect this. Oil doesn't burn much so your 20:1 mixture say, might be perfect with stock jetting will run pretty rich at 50:1.

I had a 75 250 Z that was soggy rich with a 50:1 ratio but at 16:1 the plugs colored up beautiful.
I also have a 76 Merc Snowtwister 250 ST that the manual recommends AVGas
and a 16:1 ratio. We ran 100LL and Quicksilver oil at 16 or 20:1. Won many races.
