man Im glad I found this site. have had posts on other sites for days with few replys. have error code ac 13 . cant clear it from display . first off I was checking the air box sensor . cleaned the air filter checked the duck bills. then i checked wiring connections to the sensors to air box and trottle body. they seem ok. Dont know what to check next. while trying to clear code ac-13 it went to sc-13 then back to ac-13 how do you tell if one of the sensors are bad. would like to fix it myself if possible. any help would be appreciated , thanks crash

I think thats an air sensor of some sort... I recall an O8 h1 that did that as well as a false volt error...
I was looking to see if I could find the error in the manual but, all it says is contact a dealer...

I think it's gonna be the ecm plug, you may wanna start there, check the plug and the pins for corrosion.. maybe its something simple...

might wanna ask about the "Service code switch" for the H1, not sure if its the same as a zuki or not..
I bet you can reset the ecm as well as clear it.

I put a jumper wire on it to put in dealer mode . then put into 4 wheel drive position then held the reverse override switch then turned key on and counted to 10 then released the reverse override then turned the key off then turned it back on. I was told this clears the error codes , unless there is still a problem .

Bass Pro/Tracker Boat Center doesn't know **** about how to work on ATV's. Well, at least the 1 here doesn't. I guess I shouldn't speak for all of them.....

This should be the same for error codes

Code:
Straight from the manual

ECU Error Code List
 EC00 = No Fault Detected
 EC12 = CKP (Crankshaft Position) Sensor
 EC13 = APS (Air Pressure Sensor)
 EC14 = TPS (Throttle Position Sensor)
 EC15 = Water Temperature Sensor
 EC20 = Differential Lock Relay
 EC21 = Air Temperature Sensor
 EC23 = Tilt Sensor
 EC24 = Ignition Coil #1
 EC32 = Fuel Injector #1
 EC40 = ISC Valve
 EC41 = Fuel Pump Relay
 EC99 = Start Not Possible
􀂄 NOTE: EC99 indicates that the engine will not
start and that the spark plug and fuel pump are
disabled. EC99 will be displayed following EC23
(Tilt Sensor), EC24 (Ignition Coil), etc.

To clear an error code after repairs or adjustments
are made, install the Diagnostic Harness (p/n
0486-219) by connecting it to the diagnostic plug;
then turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
After three seconds, turn the ignition switch to the
OFF position and disconnect the diagnostic harness.
When the ignition switch is turned on, the error code
should not be displayed.

ive ran into 2 things that trip code 13..
1) intake boot leaking air..
2)the map o-ring split or leaking...

overtighning the throttle body clamps can cause the boot to pinch and cause a vacume leak..

the local cat dealer quit sealing atvs when bass pro moved in . Next time I will go road trip (70 miles) one way . but I bet it would be fixed by now . I just assume work on it myself, is there a complete mech`s manual that I COULD BUY. I down loaded one, but it doesnt really tell you much on trouble shooting. pretty handy with meter and tools, just need to know what to check and look for.

just got her back they said there was some polarity and ground problems . but couldnt explain what they were , that only they where fixed. they also said that if i have an issue to turn key off then turn it back on . this will reset the ecu? they said that ecu might have got a little damage to it from the polarity problem, but that it seems to work fine now. and if i get error while turning on the key to turn off then back on and wait for it to go through its program then start. I asked them if i should put a performance ecu on they said no! that it would void my warranty . but I dont have one anyway . so what one do you guys recommend. maybe you guys can tell me what causes a polarity issue too. just like to know what to look for and how to fix. thanks
