Use a heat gun to loosen the loctite and hit it with a strong impact, the threads are normal threads.

Thanks

Big problem is holding the primary stationary while trying to turn the nut. There is a special tool that can be bought to do this I think, but it sure would be easier to beg, borrow or steal a impact wrench in my opinion.

Not sure if it would work because of the internal one-way clutch but I had an old motorcycle and the method suggested to prevent turning the crank when removing the flywheel nut was to thread a length of nylon rope down through the spark plug hole, then when turning the nut, the piston would rise and be held rigid by the rope being squeezed between the head and the piston. Always scared me doing that though, afraid of bending a piston rod or valve. Yes that was the procedure in the service manual even, but still scared me.

I have the Motion Pro clutch tool and also have all the **** busted off my secondary because of it. You might be able to thread cover bolts into the secondary (but not enough to spread it) and hold a pipe between them but your gonna struggle on a job thats really easy with a impact. You could also try locking the brake with the quad in gear and on the ground, good luck.
