Took apart electric choke & lost the damn needle in the grass. Dealer quoted $145. Country Cat is $121 + shipping. The BMS Motorsports Website says they're sold out of that part # some of you guys are running. BMS Motorsports
Too bad. Only $36.
Anyone have any other links? Anyone try any other Chinese scooter/atv brand electric choke?
Even better, can someone please direct me to a manual plunger style conversion? I'd just as soon eliminate the electric one all together.

I THINK it was Bayoucat that bought an aftermarket autochoke for about $50 new. Do a search...you'll find it.

Yep, that's the one I was referring to. Called the guy and said the next shipment is stuck in customs. Should be in stock in about 2 weeks for those of you looking. $36 + shipping
BMS Motorsports Electric Choke

The one on this carb looks like the same one. I think I have seen them close under $10.
http://www.giobikes.com/Auction/35137/150c...Electric-Choke/
I am watching to see what it closes at. My shipping estimate is $15. It says that they ship parts worldwide, but their bikes are only available in Canada. They don't offer the choke separately either.
They are pretty reliable too. I have ordered a bunch of parts for my Gio dirtbike without any problems.

Looks like I was bidding against you for a second there! Didn't realize it was you. Let me know how that choke works out for you. And if you don't need the carb, I have 150cc go kart w/ a GY6 clone that could use it.

lol, you made me pay a whole $7 for it
I wasn't planning on bidding. But I remembered that my choke acts up occasionally so I thought I would give it a try. I also need a gasket kit and front axle for my dirtbike, so I figured why not.
Here is another one if you want it. I won't bid.

But yea, I will let you know if it works. I think I have something the carb will fit on too.

Click for Automatic Choke at www.gy6usa.com
Looks just like ours - minus the cover and bracket. About $25 shipped.
