ATV: 2008 Arctic Cat 700 H1(Stolen)
i just drained the oil out of my bike today,,and noticed a few little metal particles on the drain bolt,,,then i noticed some dark gray "stuff" on the end of the drain bolt as well,,it almost felt kind of like silver never-seize,,any ideas on what that could be????

also how much oil does this take??i think either 2.0qts or 2.8qts??? let me know,,thanks

Hey
Not to sure about the the "metal particles". If they are just a couple little specks I wouldn't be to consernd though. As for the dark grey 'stuff' I wouldn't worry about that. I think it's just a little bit of metal dust. I had it on my plug the first and mabey second oil change. I think that's normal.
Mabey some one with a little more experience will chime in.
As for oil amounts the arctic cat change kit comes with 2 liters (basically the same as quarts I believe) and that brings it right to the bottom of the hash marks. That is where I run mine.
