I got this with my new oil change kit p/n 1436-275, this oil change kit fits the 550 h1,650 h1, and 700 h1 for only $28.95. Its the new 5w-50 ACX oil. Nice cheat sheet!

Cool, thanks. I just changed my oil last night and was curious as to if there was an exact capacity listed somewhere.

yeah when I did my 700 h1 it took 2.6 also, luckily my first oil change I bought the gallon. I think I'll buy the gallon kit every third oil change.

2007 Mileage: not enough
The H1 has the Cat engine, and when you check the oil you thread the dipstick in to check the oil. The cats with the suz engine require you to just seat the dipstick (don't thread in) to check the oil. This may have something to do with the differences in oil capacities

wassup guys?
I have a 500 auto (05) and have a few oil change kits for it, filter and oil...
I also recently got a 500 manual (07) ......I see oil capacity is different on the cheat sheet for the two machines but are the FILTERS the same...I can't find a part # on the manual filter...they are both ZUKI engines
thanks...

I check my oil by seating the dipstick. '07 H1 650 per the owners manual. Correct me if I am wrong.....2.6 quarts gets it even between the full/low marks on the stick.

ATV: Arctic Cat 650 H1
I was reading the 2007 650H1 service manual and owner's manual and they both state, "note: on the 400/500/650h1, the oil level stick should not be threaded in for checking purposes." Hope this helps.

08 700efi se (cat) manual says for the H1 motors thread in dipstick to read oil level - kinda dumb - should have standardized all cats
