I picked up a used Brush Guard for my AC 05 300 4x4 for a super price. It has several part numbers stamped into it and I belive it is a OEM AC part It looks like it will fit. Anyone got a line on older part numbers? Why are there so many part # stamped into it? Thanks

I am told that the guard is from a 02 250-300. The 02-05 300 I belive have the same front facia it also has the same shape and the mounting hole for the winch and nessary threaded grommets. Tommrow I am going to have a go at installing it. It dosen't have any logo or tags attached to it either. AH well tommrow will tell.

Brown's doesn't list anything for those numbers either.

But in regards to multiple #'s. I think each gusset ect is stamped also. Probably for assembly of the guard by the fabricator.

I know my 04 frame was this way. Each gusset, bracket or whatever had something stamped in it. And they weren't the frame part #.

Yep each part has a seperate number on it. Thats an idea that it is for the fabracation process, I never thought of that. I also looked it up at Brown's. I had one hit on the first set of numbers and it was superseeded by another. I belive the description was "Panal Fender FR". Then I looked it up again and never got a nibble on the web other then languages that were beyond my knowledge.
Had a peek at it this morning and it seems like a bumper from a 02 without the fender flares. The fender flares stop the instalation of the brush guard.

The bumper you have in your pics is a stock bumper of a 02-05 250
The front end looks different on the 250s and 300s
my dad has a 250 and we put the fender flares on it we had to replace the stock bumper with a deluxe bumper
part # 0506-520
This is a pic of a stock 250
