I have a 2006 V 2 with about 1500 miles on it ( I bought used) I have had it up to 60 mph (spedo) on a straight flat dirt road and chickened out. Still had throttle to go. Some day I will WOT to see the top end.

I have a 07 700efi with factory tires. Last night I had it going 63 mph by the speedo. I had my Gps in my pocket set to catch max speed and it said 68.6 mph

04 dvx 400 74.6 ( slight downhill paved road)

06 650 V2. Stock tires=69.2

Great post! Thought I was the only one that liked a bit of speed! I'm 53yrs old and don't plan on slowing down soon,just ordered a speedwerx pipe for my 700 and will be getting a copper head as soon as they get the moisture problem worked out. Most of these guys would pass out if they took some of our 800cc sleds for a rip!

I had one with a pipe, 771cc big bore kit, cams, valve springs, oversized carbs
I was clocked at 180mph by a friend in the police dept.
I also got a night in jail for 145mph in a 25mph zone.

I need to do a high speed run with my 800
I hit 49mph with the wifes 400 auto
