My right rear outer CV has started popping when I turn. I recently had the inside boot replaced, but now the outer is acting up. Should I leave it alone and wait until it breaks, fill it full of grease to buy more time or go ahead and replace it? According to AC, they want $250.00 for a new one, but is there an alternative solution? Any economical vendors out there? It's not too bad, the slop is actually worse on the inside cup, but never ran into any issues with my CV's before......HELP.

Walt beat me to the punch (again). I would replace it, as the last thing you wanna do is have 'er take a dive on ya when you need it or are relying on it.

I went ahead and called the CVMAN and spoke with Neil. He's shipping me a whole new axle. Very easy to deal with. Sending the Heavy Duty one and I'll let you know how it worked as soon as it's on.
