ATV: 04, ARCTIC CAT 650
The boot around my 4x4 switch has a hole in it. It looks like it dryed out and cracked. Did anybody else replace one yet?

Mine doesn't really look that good, but it doesn't have a hole in it. I wondered how long it would last!!

A friend of mine had to have one replaced the week he bought it.
It was a 2004 leftover, so it had sat at the dealer for a while.
It was under warranty and I almost think that they replaced the whole switch.
It seems like the more time it spends uncovered (out in the weather) the quicker they crack.
I think the sun gets to them.

I was just wondering the same thing. Looked at it the other day and its not looking as good as it did when she came home, but its not torn yet.

ATV: His & her's MudPro's
I have an idea (don't know how good it is, but it is an idea). Take one of those clear plastic/rubber computer keyboard covers they usually use at auto places and cut it to the correct size (use area from largest key) and glue it over the switch (around the outer-most edge). I don't know where you get it, maybe an office supply store.
Or, maybe you don't like this idea, it just came to mind while reading this post.

Either way, good luck!
