08 700EFI TRV stalls after warm up

My 700 EFI will start when cold but dies after about 10 minutes, fresh fuel, new plug, full battery charge, no codes show up. After warm it starts to sputter and smoke and then dies. It reminds me of the old chokes that stuck on and ran rich. The TPS setting is correct - middle bar. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

The air filter is clean just serviced it, but I think you may be right about there not being enough oxygen in the mix.

The filter is the original stock unit, no damage to the foam or plastic mount. I haven't oiled it yet, just cleaned it with soap and water. I thought I would leave the oiling until I get it running properly to allow as much air flow as possible.

Try loosening the gas cap, I've seen the tank vent up under the rear plastics get plugged up. Just a thought.

Thanks for the tip, unfotunately loosening the cap didn't help. I really need to get it running to plow the snow when it arrives. If not I'll have to shovel the 150 ft drive and then we'll both end up on the flip side.

im thinking, valves or tps is on the way out.....or maybe maybe idle speed control.

Id be checking the valves, have you adjusted the tps hot? it is to be set at running temp

any chance the fuses or relays were taken out?....Id try checking them all and maybe swaping them around. may be low fuel pressure to

Thanks Mark, the TPS was set with the engine warm but not at full temp, it died before it got there. I haven't checked the valve clearance. The fuses are all okay but I did have problems with the fan fuse blowing and changed the temp sensor. The injector is providing lots of fuel and because the bike runs so rich when hot, fouling the plug, I think its not getting enough air in the mix. The valve clearaance may be the problem but I'm too old to tackle that in this weather. I knew it was a big mistake to convert the garage to an office. May be time to take it in and let them have a look.
