Unhappy Rear Differential Needed for 2007 700 EFI

Hello all,
I reacently purchased a used 2007 700 EFI and was going to perform a seal/bearing change out on the front and rear differentials. When I tore into the rear diff, it was totally trashed. Has broken teeth on ring and pinion gears, ring gear has rubbed the side cover and the output splines are worn. Does anyone out there have a good used rear differential and possibly the short driveshaft, that connects to the motor, to go with it? I appreciate any help or direction that can be given. Thanks.

I have both from a 2007 650 if they are the same. www.countrycat.net you can look at part numbers and exploded parts diagrams to see if they are the same. Send me a pm if it will work as I have read that you can just change the nose cone if it is different

Question

Thanks for trying. I can get all the internal parts for about $400, but do not know what size shims to order with the parts. There is a used diff available from Canada for $400 also. Whould you guys suggest used unit and put my seal/bearing kit in it and go, or by the replacement parts and rebuild mine? I currently have no pics of the used diff from Canada. Tough one for me??

the internals will be the same so if you can find a ring gear and pinion you could just drop them in....which ever is cheaper is how i would go its not much to go wrong if the gears are good then new seals and bearings and your good

I believe I have a Complete NEW One in the box at work. I check and see if I have, and what the boss will let it go for.

If not I can sell you one that you can use the internals out of and use your housing

When you say the internals will be the same, are you talking about the internals of my 2007 700 and the internals of the 2007 650?

My $400 would be for new OEM internals from Arctic Cat including: ring, pinion, side cover, input shaft, pinion collar, and any needed shims/thrust button. Still don't know how to get the right size shims if I were to buy the new parts. Most of the old shims were gone or destroyed and the new side cover may require different size shims than old one??
