Bushings for a 650 v-twin

I'm told my rear shock bushings need to be replaced. Is there one brand that is better than another or preferred. What other bushings should I look at while I'm at it.
This is for a 2004 650 v-twin.

You might want to consider looking at the newer style factory shock bushings . Where the original ones are just nylon , the newer style is a hard rubber bushing captured in a steel shell . I'd say that they will likely never wear out . That's the route that I went for my 2005 V2 and they were bomb proof . Every dealer has them ( or can order them in ) too . It couldn't be easier .

Sorry , I just remembered that it was the fronts , not the rears that I replaced .

I replaced all my shock and a-arms bushings not too long ago, bought them from my dealer, they are made from black rubber and they need a steel "axle". put them all new, and right now they're showing signs of wear. I'm looking at having them machined from UHMW or something like it.

maybe my dealer didn't tipped me on the newer style?
